Social networking joins business world

A franchise of a burger chain one day found the dough for their buns wasn’t rising. It was a long weekend and the corporate offices were closed. With nowhere to turn, the manager wrote about the problem in the company’s internal social network — a type of insiders’ Facebook. Within minutes, managers at other franchises responded, saying they were having the same problems.
